The location is great, very close to local attractions and numerous restaurants in Mt. Vernon.

The staff at this hotel were very knowledgeable and took great care of me. the location is convenient, with many fast food restaurants nearby and colleges in the area. I enjoyed dining at Subway, as it's within walking distance from the hotel.

The beds were soft and comfortable. The room included tea and coffee making equipment, a writing desk, and an iron with ironing board. The hotel is conveniently located near shops, making it easy to explore the area.

Greeting at midnight about strictness of no-smoking policy (how about an inquiry about my 6 hr drive instead?). By the way, I don't smoke and never have. Room was stone cold, but heat kicked in. And must every small hotel dining area blare Fox News? I like my morning coffee without unnecessary political discord.

The setting was wonderful, really close to Mount Vernon for a Memorial service, all shops, and nice restaurants. The rooms were new-fashioned and updated with 2 beds kept by the very attentive staff. The coffee, cereals, muffins, and scrambled eggs for breakfast were much appreciated.

It was really really nice stay, I appreciated cheap food.

The hotel was a cozy base for enjoying a secure area, right by colleges, movie theatre and several restaurants in the Mt. The room of this place was quiet and updated with all the amenities. The staff was VERY ATTENTIVE plus the location was good. Café Panera Bread located 1 mi away was a nice surprise.

We were pleasantly surprised by the updated lobby and room, it felt like we were in a new hotel. The room had great amenities like a microwave, Keurig, and fridge. The blackout shades were phenomenal and there were plenty of charging spots for our devices. We were also thrilled to find hooks in the room, which is something many hotels lack. The pool was nice and had all new pool chairs, perfect for our 6-year-old. it was a pleasant experience and we would stay again.

Several guests I met were visiting Kenyon College, which is pretty close to the hotel. The room was clean and neat, with both firm and soft pillows to choose from. The breakfast offered a good selection of items to start the day.

The only thing that could have made the morning meal better was a hot breakfast option. While the breakfast was fresh, I've stayed at other hotels for a lower price that offered a hot breakfast.
